The votes are in and NetPEO is a winner! The honorees for the Best of Gwinnett 2019 list have been announced. Duluth-based NetPEO is sharing the top honor in the Employment agency category.
The Best of Gwinnett
Gwinnett is the second-most populous county in Georgia. North of Atlanta, Gwinnett is home to over 900,000 people and a wide range of businesses, including NetPEO.
Every year, Gwinnett Magazine produces the Guide to Gwinnett. As part of the Guide, Gwinnett Magazine includes a list of the best local businesses known as the “Best of Gwinnett”.
The Best of Gwinnett list is created collaboratively by the magazine’s readers and editors. Readers can nominate local businesses to be included on the list, with some input from Gwinnett Magazine’s editors. Once businesses have been selected, voting can remain open for up to 10 months. Gwinnett Magazine’s editors vet the businesses and voting patterns to ensure that only the best businesses are nominated and that the votes are organic.
When the polling closes, Gwinnett Magazine announces winners for that year’s “Best of Gwinnett”. The list is based on business types, allowing for winners in more than 20 categories. The Best of Gwinnett honors are divided into “Best,” “Among the Best,” and “Ones to Watch.”
About NetPEO
NetPEO was founded by Layne Davlin about 20 years ago in Duluth, which is part of the Gwinnett County. While still based in Duluth, NetPEO has grown substantially over the years. NetPEO, a PEO and HR service brokerage, now works with businesses across the U.S. to solve their HR outsourcing needs. If a business needs help with benefits, administration, payroll management, worker’s compensation claims, employee recruitment, or other HR functions, NetPEO is here to help those businesses find an affordable solution.
NetPEO is dedicated to keeping the businesses it works with happy. When a business works with NetPEO, they have a partner that is with them throughout the process of finding the right HR outsourcing solution for their business. The brokers with NetPEO work alongside business owners from their initial needs analysis, through selecting a new HR outsourcing partner, and even after a co-employment agreement is signed. The focus on working side-by-side with clients is why clients have given NetPEO a 100% satisfaction rating and why NetPEO has a 95% client retention rate.
For 2019, NetPEO was voted as one of the “Best” employment agencies operating out of Gwinnett. However, this isn’t the first time that NetPEO has been recognized as one of the top employment agencies in Gwinnett. The company has enjoyed the honor in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, and now in 2019.
NetPEO Is a Leader in a Growing Industry
The PEO industry has been growing rapidly for years. According to research published by IBISWorld, the PEO industry has grown at an annualized rate of 6.3% for a five year period ending in 2019. This rate of growth translates to nearly $200 billion in revenue during the period.
Research by the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) notes that there are 175,000 small and mid-sized businesses that work with a PEO in the U.S. today. These businesses employ nearly four million workers, representing more employees than Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Google, and AT&T combined.
One key reason for the success of the PEO industry is that businesses who partner with the right PEO do better than similar businesses who don’t seek HR outsourcing services. NAPEO’s research suggests that businesses who partner with a PEO see faster rates of growth, lower employee turnover rates, and are half as likely to go out of business. Employers also see an average annual administrative cost reduction of about $450 per employee.
